1996, I remember when the sitcom Moesha (woah, sitcom?) first aired on an old network called UPN. I watched that show religiously. It wasn’t until recently that I realized how influential Moesha was to myself and many other young girls of the time. Everyone wanted to have something that was related to this show. The hair, the fashion, the lingo, the relationships, the intro song for crying out loud, was fricken’ awesome. I believe it’s safe to say that the importance of this show to our pop culture history cannot be denied.
