Hello Clothes Minds!
For as long as I can remember, there has rarely been a time when I DON’T feel like getting dressed.
Accessorizing, color mixing and matching, layering, and combining clothing items that I have not previously paired together, are all apart of the “getting dressed” process that I LOVE.
However, not always do I dress for the occasion, but more so for how I feel like portraying my “inner” on the “outter”.
This could mean wearing heels to something casual, because I felt like getting dressed up, OR this could mean wearing a new pair of cute sandals, (but not the most comfortable ones) on a day where there is a lot of walking involved.
“Fit Femme” is a term I use to describe the idea of getting dressed, in a feminine and fashionable manner, while keeping in mind the comfort of my feet!
While people have been pairing sneakers with feminine attire for years as a fashion statement, the Fit Femme series is my personal take on it.
Fit Femme also stands for the idea of “on the go” fashion, movement and travel, which I will discuss more throughout the series this month.
In most cases, I would encourage getting OUT of your comfort zone. But with the Fit Femme concept, the more comfort the better!
(Well, sort of. I don’t want to see you in your pajamas running errands or going to class. Please understand the difference Clothes Minds!)
Pairing a trendy, loose fitting dress with a bold pair of sneakers, achieves a look of comfort, confidence and style.
Overall we see how simple it is to achieve a “Fit Femme” look. Something with summertime vibes and comfort in mind!
